What if it was "the agency"?
How would we know?
Since attempting to write my piece on the ‘escapades’ of the intelligence agencies I have found way more questions than answers. This could be the "‘rabbit hole’ of all rabbit holes! It is filled with data. The biggest problem with data can be too much data. Itelligence agencies have had at least 70 years and the benefit of an unprecedented technological boom in medicine, mental health, electronics, digital, and last but far from least, PsyOps!
This is an ominous brew. The same theme sci-fi novels have used, the will of the robots to survive causes our (human) destruction, is in play here. Today we speculate not if, but when the Artificial Intelligence tech will imprison us all. As we give more trust to machines, we become their slaves. What worries me most is the rocky start AI has already had! Barely have we cracked open the egg, and an highly imperfect monster has emerged!
Probably the most sophisticated AI was asked to simply draw a picture of George Washington, our first U.S. President. AI responded with a mix of the authentic George and one that was a person of color. This is what happens when you jack with the data! Coders have a creed, ‘garbage in, garbage out’ which sums it up perfectly. The problem is, this is just the tip of the iceberg!
The first movie I ever saw in an IMAX theater reminds me of how I felt when I first understood the sheer gravity of how big this hidden iceberg really is. I went into a dark theater and sat down. Music began and a glorious and colorful movie began. Some people were readying a huge hot-air balloon for launch. About five minutes into this highly amplified experience, we were all gasping with “ooohs and ahhhhs”, and suddenly the ropes dropped away and the gigantic balloon goes skyward!
That was the moment we learned what IMAX really was, for as we thought we had seen it all, four times more screen lit up, showing the hot-air balloon over a thousand-foot cliff and it was like we all were inside that gondola! We grabbed our seats and tapped the floor to reassure us that we were safe on the ground and not a thousand feet above a lowly river below!
When I started researching the history of our intelligence agencies, I was just watching a phone sized screen. But, when I dug just a little bit, that screen expanded to IMAX! It turns out machines are not the only entities that have strong survival instincts, agencies do too!
Give an inch, take a mile:
Income taxes were first started by Abraham Lincoln. It was 3% on over $800 to raise money for defense for the Civil War. But it was allowed to expire in 1872. About twenty years later President Taft agreed on a 2% tax on the rich (over $4000). I have no axe to grind, as I am not in the one, five, or even top ten percent, but when Congress comes after the ‘rich’ for more than half of all income taxes most will cut back businesses, effectively killing millions of jobs! What Joe Biden does not want you to know is the largest contributor to U.S. Income Taxes are the top 50%, if you make an adjusted gross income of $50,000 a year, that’s you! As you can see on this circle graph, we, the top 50% pay 97.66% of all income taxes!
We can easily get lost in the data. Some throw a percentage of income, some prefer a delta (change) percentage from previous years, but total money paid, and income groups ranked by percentage shows everyone in the top 50% is paying through the nose! Maybe this is a sign that Congress is spending way too much? Just a thought.
The intelligence agencies are driven by their desire to survive. Here is an example of an agency that was shut down only to find it reincarnated into another! During World War II President Roosevelt felt we needed an American ‘MI-6’ so he started the Office of Strategic Services or OSS. When the war ended, President Truman signed Executive Order 9621 to dissolve the OSS.

Despite opposition from the military establishment, the United States Department of State and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), President Truman established the National Intelligence Authority on January 22, 1946, by presidential directive; it was the direct predecessor to the CIA. The National Intelligence Authority and its operational extension, the Central Intelligence Group (CIG), was disestablished after twenty months. The assets of the SSU, which now constituted a streamlined "nucleus" of clandestine intelligence, were transferred to the CIG in mid-1946 and reconstituted as the Office of Special Operations (OSO).
Presto change-oh! The OSS became the OSO! At least OSO doesn’t sound so much like the SS officers in Germany! It’s alive! That “nucleus of clandestine intelligence” was like an alien life that did not want to die, so it found ways to survive. But I think we saw the Medusa resprouting heads showing it was already uncontrollable! The OSO morphed into the CIA through some more hocus pocus, and that organization is here to stay! I can only imagine how much control they have on media today.
I have seen articles suggesting they have been very busy collecting dirt on anyone they could use to further their missions. Missions not sanctioned by any sunlit government committee. Missions driven by the need to protect and strengthen the agency, with little care for the U.S. and its people. Missions now freely conducted on American soil, involving U.S. citizens, which is expressly against their powers! Agents were onsite at the infamous Jan6th protest turned riot.
If you wonder, why almost no one was outed in the Jeffrey Epstein scandals and how cameras weren’t working, guards missing, and a seemingly healthy Epstein with a full deck of cards to play, apparently committed suicide, maybe it was too much of a prize for an organization that clandestinely terminates opposition on a regular basis, to pass up? All that dirt? The John F. Kenndey assassination has traceable prints from the agency, as Oswald was associated with the agency.
Two of the members of the LBJ appointed Warren Commission refused to believe the ‘kill-shot’ came from the Book Depository Building! Now, who likes to terminate its problems? President Kennedy allegedly had an affair with an intelligence agent’s (Cord Meyer’s) wife? and, oh wow, then he was assassinated! What are the odds?

When the accusations are coming from multiple directions, ya just gotta wonder, two (with access to most of the data), on the Warren Commission, former CIA asset Marita Lorenz, E. Howard Hunt’s complete near-death confession and Oswald’s ties to the agency, now that’s a lot of smoke with no fire?
That iceberg I was referring to earlier, might tie into any unaccountable reversal or confession or even sudden death that seems out of place. I suspect they have a vault of blackmail that could take down even presidents and other world leaders? They say, “The best defense is a good offense!” Spoon-fed dirt on generals, presidents, campaign staff, media bosses, and D.C. bodies, both elected and appointed gives a certain agency immortality.
