Speak up or lose the right!
The left has made me a news junkie. I didn’t use to be one, then I kept noticing my freedom and rights were shrinking, melting away ‘for the good of others’! They wrap our loss of freedom in labels that are the antitheses of what they really do. I realize that we have to push back, or this just keeps getting worse!
There are solutions but we need to apply them. Supposedly Donald Trump has an excellent legal team, but when they went before the U.S. Supreme Court recently to argue for Presidential Immunity, they got an unexpected response! Justice Clarence Thomas asked them if they have challenged the prosecutors right to prosecute in this case? Trump’s lawyers are unable to peer past the bark of one tree and maybe should not even be in the forest??
For all of us it is easy to miss the basics. When we silently watch as laws chip away at our freedom, just maybe we should push back? By saying something, we could slow the erosion! Could we petition for the naming of bills to be accurate?
Advertisers are held to a standard, at least conservative advertisers like the “My Pillow Guy” Mike Lindell, was dinged for just using the word ‘sale’, when his price was always that low!
T-Mobile got grief from the F.C.C. because they thought the pink beams of light running through city streets in their commercials were misleading! Like someone would actually think if I get T-Mobile I’ll have cool pink lighting when I make a call or tweet! In both cases this was frivolous government overreach IMHO.
If they can do it to advertisers, why can’t we hold our lawmakers to that standard of truth? You might say this is ridiculous but until we try, you never know. Clarence Thomas thinks the prosecutor may not be legally allowed to prosecute! Why fight the case when you can stop it at ground zero?
This kind of paradigm solution might work. ESG (Environmental, social and governance-based investing framework) was totally out of control. Banks were cutting people off for not ‘checking all the ESG boxes’! It was like a cross between the Scarlet Letter and McCarthyism! Do as we dictate or lose your bank account! Loans were denied and you pretty much had to ‘play ball’ or your ‘business-goose was cooked’!
Recently, by turning a bright light on the ESG mafia, things have gotten a bit better. The same has recently happened to the authoritarian child transgender movement. Studies are showing all children question their identity and few, very few like the data shows wants to permanently leave their born sex identity, when mentally stable.
Sweden and other parts of Europe have pumped the brakes on operating on kids without much more data. Just speaking up caused that, so, it turns out ‘saying something’, can work! Who knew?

The misleading names to bills occupying reams of paper, forced to a vote when no one could possibly have read it, and containing many disparate decrees often unrelated to the purpose of the original bill, is unacceptable! When Nancy Pelosi was running roughshod over the House as ‘Speaker’, she said, “You have to pass the bill to find out what is in it!”
This is clearly a guise to hide money laundering, favoritism, kickbacks, pork projects, graft and corruption! Vote someone in that will author a bill to mandate one topic per bill, a week to review for every 500 pages, and no bill can be ratified if the name can be proven false for its actions!
This would stop our ‘Inflation Reduction Act’, that actually causes inflation! The Democrat elites eventually admitted the name was wrong, but it got their bill through, and that was all they wanted! Congress should have had time to read and digest what is in it. This would allow the few not living in the swamp a chance to expose the pork, the unrelated, and the wasteful. It wouldn’t be so fun in Washington D.C. so not as many crooks would run for office and more honest, hardworking representatives would be serving our interests. We could enact ‘term limits’ so those ‘lifers’ could no longer survive in the swamp for more than eight years.
Impossible? Maybe. We have let this get way, way out of hand. But if we don’t try, we know exactly where we are headed, and it ain’t pretty! We should be encouraged by those recent ‘victories’ that came from just shining bright lights into questionable actions.

What?! He goes on to tell us what the dinosaur news media has painstakingly hidden. You know that funding to HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) that Biden takes credit for at every opportunity? Trump told Jack that every year he invited the HBCU group into the Oval office to ask what funding they needed for that year. This went on for three of Trump’s four years. The final year Trump said this was crazy that every single year the black colleges and universities had to come beg for money, you guys are prestigious university presidents, you should not have to beg for money to educate students. So, Trump gave them long-term funding, so they did not have to come back each and every year.
So, that 7 billion dollars that Joe Biden is bragging about, is just the extension of the Trump funds he already allocated to HBCU!
He goes on to say Trump made 10 billion available for HBCU! The term racist is just a weapon in the liberal arsenal. Trump has been assaulted by the label racist, then the libs fired a volley of Nazi, next they brought in the heavy artillery of white supremacist!
Just as Elon Musk says, he did not leave the Democrat party, they left him, Trump has always been Trump, the same guy that everyone loved before he ran for President. He was interviewed with love and respect by past giants like Oprah Winfrey, Phil Donahue, Rhona Barrett, and Larry King! Back in the 80’s many prompted him to run for President!
You can clearly see he is the same Donald Trump, just younger! His political ideas were the same, it was the Democrats that moved! Today’s Republican is much closer to yesterday’s Democrat! That is why people that were Democrats myself included, have gone conservative. We want solutions, not band-aids that constantly need additional care.
I see the Democrat elites, and some from both parties that keep applying short-term band-aids, knowing you will vote them back in to apply another one! They know if they fixed racial tension, they would lose the hold they have had on people of color since LBJ.
